Sick to my Stomach

T-Minus 90 min till we leave for the airport. In a little under 24 hours it will all be over. I am seriously sick to my stomach.

I'm going on like 3 hours of sleep here, no food (See above comment) and a serious case of jitters. I'm surprised I didn't throw up already. I almost did this morning, but it passed.

By the way, I am absolutely not pregnant, if anyone was going to say the sickness was caused by that.

My baby is snuggling with Raya right now. I'm really going to miss the puppy girl. But she's going to be on a vacation of her own very soon: Nonstop frolicking with her niece. I expect to come back to a skinny minny dog.

Have I mentioned how nervous I am. They are ALLLLL coming to the airport to pick us up. I'm going to be on like no sleep, and I have to look fresh for all of Marcelo's family. Why did I ever think this was a good idea with a kid?

Please wish me luck! And send a quick prayer out to Evi tonight. And tomorrow. . .Cause we'll still be traveling then.

Lemon OUT!

Get really, really drunk on the flight. That way even if it is terrible, you won't remember any of it.

Good luck, and enjoy your vacation!

I will be praying for a smooth trip! Did you decide on bringing the car seat?

remember: one day of hell is worth a great vacation, right? right? good question. hopefully Evi will surprise you (pleasantly, that is) and you are going to have such a great time. i am so jealous of you and glad for you to have the opportunity to go and see people you love and have them fall in love with your daughter. it's going to be such a great trip and i can't wait to hear all about it when you get home.

GOOD LUCK! My brother- and sister-in-law just traveled to Greece and Albania to visit her extended family and took their one-year-old -- I give them major kudos! Despite all the difficulties it looks like from their pictures they survived and have some great memories to look back on. I hope it turns out the same for you and Evi and Marcelo and his family!
